The mention of DEWs and mini-nukes in Paul Craig Robert’s recent commentary suggests to me that he may have been besieged with attacks from Judy Wood and her followers for mentioning my work on 9/11, even though it was restricted to the alleged 9/11 aircraft crash sites and had nothing to do with how the World Trade Center was destroyed. That no passengers died in crashes that did not take place and that there were no suicide hijackers that brought them about–where a half-dozen of them turned up alive and well the following day–means that the total “War on Terror” was predicated upon a fiction brought to us by the Bush/Cheney administration. It was not based on fact.
Most Americans are unaware that there are three major research programs in 9/11 research, where A&E911 promotes the use of nanothermite as a principal ingredient in destroying the Twin Towers, Judy Wood promotes DEWs (Directed Energy Weapons) and others associated with Scholars for 9/11 Truth (which I founded in late 2005) have concluded that it was done with an arrangement of mini or micro nukes, which have an adjustable radius that could have been set for 100′ (where the Towers were 208′ on a side), directed upward and taken out a 10-floor cube per second in the North Tower, which would have taken 11 seconds, and, because the top three cubes of the South Tower were tilting to the side and taken out as one, would have taken only 9, results that agree with NIST’s own estimates.
Remarkably, although the nanothermite movement was based upon studies of a few dust samples from an apartment in the vicinity of “Ground Zero”, A&E911 has shown no interest in the United States Geological Survey’s far more extensive studies of samples from all over the city, perhaps because they reveal the presence of a host of elements that would only have been there (with the correlations and in the quantities found) had 9/11 been a nuclear event: Barium and Strontium, Thorium and Uranium, Lithium, Lanthanum, Yttrium, Chromium and Tritium. But they are not alone. When I observed that Judy Wood had not ruled out the use of mini or micro nukes in my review of her book, WHERE DID THE TOWERS GO? on amazon.com, I was attacked by her followers literally thousands upon thousands of times, which continue to this day:
Neither group displays scientific rigor, which requires taking into account all the available relevant evidence, where the USGS dust sample studies appear to hold the key to understanding how it was done, which in turn offers indications of who was responsible and why. Even more remarkable than the failure of either A&E911 or the DEW group to explain how it was done, neither addresses the crucial questions of who was responsible and why. A&E911 admits that the question lies beyond its purview, while Judy Wood insists that, until we have established exactly how it was done (in every respect, implied), we cannot deal with those questions, which is the intellectual equivalent of being unable to chew gum and walk at the same time. Scholars has thoroughly explored that issue, however, where the two-hour program, “The Real Deal Ep #103 9/11: Who was responsible and why with Dennis Cimino”, may be the most comprehensive summary of the situation yet to appear on-line.
Roberts has mentioned that Lee Hamilton and Thomas Kean, its co-chairs, have reported that The 9/11 Commission was set up to fail. It appears that at least as much attention was devoted to planning the cover-up and planting false leads as was given to fabricating the crash sites and taking out the Twin Towers. The priority now must be to publicly EXPOSE the perpeTRAITORS of 911 and its years-long COVER-UP by ALL CONgress Critters and Federal Gov't officials since the Dubya reign of DECEPTION, LIES and TERROR, before THEY can make their escape. For me there were two huge positives about PCR's Jim Fetzer column (see below). The first, and by far the most important, was that Fetzer got extensive recognition from Paul Craig Roberts, a widely respected national columnist.
Second, for me, was Roberts comment, " Fetzer’s frustration with less capable and less observant people increasingly shows, and this works to his disadvantage."
As I've commented before, I have great respect for Jim Fetzer as a researcher, analyst, and reporter. On every issue he's researched and reported on in depth, Fetzer's convinced me that he's right about what he's written.
As for Jim Fetzer's being frustrated and snippy with his critics, I agree with PCR.
My hope is that in the future,re 911, Fetzer will ignore the annoying Wood gnats and others and will tactfully try to come up with a unifying 911 theory to accommodate all the factions. Frankly, I think a unifying theory also fits with what's most likely to have happened with the WTC and NYC on 9/11/2001.
This suggestion may be most presumptuous of me but here goes… On 9/11 the tops of the twin towers were blown to dust as JF argues while the lower floors and WTC7 were brought down in the usual controlled demolition with explosives manner. But what about WTC5 and WTC6, the hundreds of "toasted cars" on the FDR Parkway near the Brooklyn Bridge and closer to the WTC," and incipient Hurricane Erin? There, or at least with the hurricane, I think Dr. Judy Wood may be on to something.
Scores and hundreds of people have done countless hours of research on 9/11. Each has a theory. Maybe Jim Fetzer's next big project could be to bring all the people and puzzle pieces together in a way that gives all credit for their contributions and lets the reader select from the best argued and worst said about each theory.
