The United States of America is the land that we love.
Maybe we can all agree that far?
But the rest of all these patriotic Fatherland songs leave
many of us sitting in our seats.
Because we know.

We are not living in that land that we think we grew up in, with the Beatles, the Yankees, John Kennedy, Ed Sullivan, Matt Dillon, Walter Cronkite and Alpha-Bits.

We are not the good guys.
We are not the good guys.
That’s something that takes forever to figure out and
even longer to understand.

But now, we have waited, lived forever, through Vietnam, JFK, RFK, MLK, Johnson, Reagan, Waco, Oklahoma City, 9/11, Boston, Sandy Hook, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama, San Bernardino, Orlando, Las Vegas, Parkland … all that crap, always hoping things would turn around, turn out right, in the end, because ultimately, we are the good guys.

We live in The United States of America.
And we are not the good guys.

Penn Magazine is named in honor of Penn Jones Jr.,

one of the first honest researchers

into the murder of John F. Kennedy

It’s all connected, that day and this,

                      there is an ongoing thread,

that’s why it’s important to keep doing the work …

because if Truth does not come to the United States

it will implode and possibly destroy the world as well.

So, join with us and lets save the world.

The MAY ISSUE of PENN MAGAZINE IS NOW AVAILABLE

CHRIS HEDGES:

“… There are no
institutions within the
United States that are
authentically democratic.

The only hope we have left is acts of mass sustained civil disobedience,
blocking rail tracks that carry tar sands oil,
non-cooperation, shutting down the
country in a massive way, that’s it.

DEBBIE LUSIGNAN:

“We made the collective decision that we were not going to stand for the real account of the murder of 3,000 people on this soil on Sept. 11, 2001, with mass evidence, eye witnesses, and the circumstantial
evidence paints a picture of something that is an inside job.
No investigation. No real demand for it.

… since 9/11, well, not just since 9/11, but on steroids since 9/11, they have used mass tragedies as a means to do massive rights grabs … the police are saying they want the power to pre-emptively detain people without a threat to self or others, on what they post on social media.

“… we know what they’ve done since 9/11. They’ve used every last one of these events, never to actually protect people … because 9/11 was designed to be a perpetual war on a feeling that they can suspend the constitution, post-constitution period, no accountability for the crimes they commit, no oversight by the Supreme Court, and every last one of these tragedies they do these rights grabs, and then they get the population to go and march for it. Shame on America for that bullshit.

“People say, what do you do.
Well, you stop individually buying it and anything that props it up
and then you make peace.

AARON RUSSO

“We’re dealing with complete evil.
We’re dealing with complete evil and until the
American people wake up and say we don’t want this evil in my country anymore. I want to come back to a country of decency and goodness and integrity and honor … that’s what it’s going to take, people to stand up and say we don’t want to live in this kind of a world anymore. … It’s a criminal organization, but it’s a criminal organization that has prestige, it appears to have class, style, it’s respected. People don’t look at it as being a criminal organization.

JAMES W. DOUGLASS

“There’s a concept that Orwell talks about, it’s called CrimeStop,
that we have in our own minds.

What CrimeStop means is when there’s a questions that is an extraordinarily uncomfortable one and there’s a systemic evil, he’s putting it in the context of the whole society and a government that’s operating behind the scenes.

While we act in our own psyches in such a way that the government
doesn’t have to do anything if the crime
stop is up here [head].

WILLIAM PEPPER

“They [assassinations] will continue and we can expect nothing less from a power structure that wants to control the world.

If they don’t have to use it, they won’t. They tolerate people who will not affect really the power structure of the society.

Political assassinations, Martin King, and Bob Kennedy in particular … the way government controls people, is through the use of political assassinations and infiltration and the installation of agent provocateurs and movement groups, that happened rampantly throughout the ‘60s, and we were very naive.

We didn’t realize the extent to which government was worried about this.
But they did it.
So when you have this type of political operation that is sponsored by government, political assassinations are a key element, and they have been throughout the history of human society by the way. This is nothing new.

But the assassinations of the ‘60s set the stage for what we have today. The end of representative democracy and the establishment of oligarchic rule in this country because that is what we are facing. Let’s understand it. America is ruled by a corporate and financial oligarchy that dominates all public officials and all public life in the country.

So it’s very difficult to say we’re going to go against this force when we’re going to be challenging the very basis of the establishment.

KEVIN BARRETT

“The confessions of E. Howard Hunt are just one of the dozens if not hundreds of “smoking guns” proving beyond all possible doubt that the CIA was at the center of the coup d’état against JFK.

As long as the American people imagine that there is still some small shred of doubt about the JFK case, they will never rise up and overthrow the military-industrial-intelligence complex (including the mainstream media brainwashing apparatus) that has stolen their democracy.

So everyone, repeat after me, “CIA killed JFK.”

Let us finish the job that JFK started when he said, “I want to splinter the CIA into a thousand pieces and scatter it to the winds.”

JIM FETZER

“While many citizens believe that Senator Paul Wellstone’s perfectly-timed plane crash was an accident, the evidence suggests
it was an assassination instead.

The NTSB considered only accident-compatible hypotheses involving the plane, the pilots, and the weather. This lecture systematically considers the available evidence in this case, much of which is not known to the public. He explains why the NTSB’s evidence contradicts its own conclusions and offers reasons why a more thorough and systematic investigation leads to a very different conclusion.

When the alternatives of a small bomb, a gas canister, or a directed-energy weapon are taken into account, a more disturbing conception emerges of exactly what happened to the man widely regarded as “the conscience of the Senate.”

Paul Wellstone, as you all know, died in a plane crash
that occurred on 25 October 2002, ten days before the election. His wife was aboard, and a daughter, three aides, and two pilots. … they were expected
in Eveleth airport about 10:20 …

… Paul Wellstone would have stood with us in wanting to know the truth. He would have been unflinching. He would have been relentless pursued the truth as long and hard as he could, and by God, that’s what I’m going to do,
as long as I’m here to do it.
