Larry Rivera, AI Confirms Lee in the TSBD Doorway

Larry Rivera

We’ve come a long way. When “The JFK Horsemen” was published in 2018 I wrote about technology catching up to the bastards who overthrew the government in the coup of 1963. I was also cognizant that the identification of Lee in the doorway of the TSBD was just a matter of time before this technology would confirm it. The fact that not a single entity followed up and reported dissenting results of the methodology ascribed, spoke volumes. True to form, the dawn of Artificial Intelligence has arrived, and the JFK assassination has become fertile ground.

Testing the AI system

Speaking of methodology, Chapter 8 of “The JFK Horsemen” describes in detail the forensic overlay techniques that identified Lee Oswald in the doorway of the TSBD at the moment President Kennedy was being ambushed on Elm Street. With AI, all it takes is uploading any image file to an AI engine and harvesting the results within seconds. Different levels of brightness bring out details that can be assembled into composite images and/or used to tweak out the best results. The first example that blew my mind was our friend Carlos Jurado Delmar, LIRING-3 (201-798301), remember that guy? He’s that Mexican CIA spy who offered the salacious gossip that not only did Sylvia Durán have sex with Lee Oswald in Mexico City, but also that he had her over at his CIA-sponsored apartment in 1965 for casual sex as well! The wild Elena Garro de Paz was the other “witness” who confirmed the alleged affair.

Well, these are the dramatic results obtained when processing a very basic black and white reproduction found in his 201 file. Now we can see what this lowlife really looked like!!

Nifty, isn’t it?

Another example

Remember Raymond Gerende, AKA Ramón Joseph Alvarez Durant (201-0119523), AKA LIEMPTY-1? In 1963, he was making more money than the average major league professional baseball player to run the LIEMPTY photo surveillance operation in Mexico for the CIA, which had its equipment trained 24/7 on the Cuban and Soviet installations in Mexico City. That’s the same operation that failed to photograph Lee Oswald supposedly coming out of the Soviet Embassy in the fall of 1963. His 201 file also contained a low-definition photo, as seen above with Jurado Delmar. Here is the AI interpretation of that photo with just a couple of very slight touch-ups:

AI Identifies Doorway man as Lee Oswald

For this study, two scans were used, both from the original Groden collection. A brightness-adjusted version was tested because the shadows tended to give misinterpretations that produced facial distortion.

Interestingly enough, despite the distortions, each one teased out important details of the control image and added exquisite skin tones and eye detail. Moreover, if you look closely at his right clavicle area and below the left chin, there is an indication of the rust-colored shirt he wore that day!

For example, one pass through the AI engine showed the enhanced lips, pursed in the manner Lee used to do, and another showed the right ear in detail. Yet another showed the nose. The presence of facial hair is a function of the dark shadow in that area when the images are processed in their original state. With that in mind, it was clear we were on to something important that just needed a little bit of tweaking.

A different approach

The answer to the shadow problem consisted of cutting out and isolating the head and face area of the exemplar, so that shadows and extraneous material could not interfere with the AI interpretation. The alpha channel of the PNG format of the image shown below left is crucial and guarantees that only the selected pixels are processed. In doing so, we are able to streamline only the pertinent data into the AI engine. Here is the result, and it’s nothing less than jaw-dropping:

After a very small adjustment in brightness, this is the outcome. What appeared to be a scar in the lower right cheek perioral area is gone. The hair also appears fuller and of the right color. The skin tones and detail are out of this world. This is Lee Oswald in the TSBD doorway — Richard Hooke, this one’s for you, brother!

This from Jim Fetzer:

Larry’s latest using Artificial Intelligence confirms what we concluded over a dozen years ago–which Harold Weisberg and Jim Garrison also knew–that Lee was in the doorway of the Texas School Book Depository when the JFK motorcade passed by and therefore cannot have been one of the (multiple) shooters…Richard Hooke carried the issue further by discovering innumerable similarities between the image of Doorman (left) and Lee when he was arrested. He began with 6 or 7 but continued to find 60 or 70 similarities, which makes sense since they were one and the same. Larry carried the matter a giant step forward by doing superimpositions of Lee’s face over Doorman’s and comparing them with the face of Billy Lovelady.  Brilliant work, Larry! And CONGRATULATIONS!
