Trump’s selective hypocrisy and moral turpitude is obscenely absurd, a total absence of rule of law.

It opens the floodgate worldwide demanding his immediate release. Will that happen? Unlikely, but as despised villain Trump proceeds with his show trial, the on-the-ground resistance to America’s imperialist presence in Venezuela will come under certain attack. When the Bela 1 oil tanker sailing under a Guyana flag left Venezuela several weeks ago heading into open Caribbean water, the oil tanker changed its name to Marinera and flag to Russian. But the US military continued attempting to interdict and board the vessel. Last month for over a week, the US pursued the Russian tanker all the way into the North Atlantic, all the while a nearby Russian submarine closely monitored the tense, dangerous situation. Ultimately with assistance from lapdog Britain, the US Coast Guard seized the tanker near Iceland on Wednesday January 7th, detaining the ship’s crew that includes Russian citizens. Russian President Vladimir Putin accused the US of violating international maritime law, with his Transport Ministry declaring:
In accordance with the 1982 U.N. Convention on the Law of the Sea, freedom of navigation applies in the high seas, and no state has the right to use force against vessels duly registered in the jurisdictions of other states.
Russia is multilaterally defending the entire world of nations’ right to freedom of navigation in international waters, and will likely formally challenge the Trump unilateral piracy on the high seas. There’s no way that the Trump rogue state will win in either the UN’s international court or the court of public world opinion. Trump’s exceptionalism using his blatantly lawless mobster tactics is no longer tolerated by Russia, China and entire world. In a telling Wednesday January 7th interview with the New York Times from the Oval Office, Trump sounded off on multiple topics, but foremost his aggressive law unto himself via his ongoing land grab in Venezuela. When asked “if there are any limits to his global powers,” Trump responded:

Any Trump attempt to send in either more military or more oil company executives, even if backed by US ground forces to Venezuela’s formidably hostile terrain, attempting to recolonize the proud, unified people of Venezuela, the US is in store for a very rude awakening. In today’s multipolar world aligned closely with Russia, China and Iran, Caracas will simply no longer permit the wholesale theft of its most precious mineral resources, much less the world’s largest oil reserves.
Moreover, Venezuela’s now interim President Delcy Rodriguez in her very first speech, defiantly insisted that her nation will continue fighting against Zionist imperialism. In addition to abducting Maduro and his wife, Trump’s reckless attack on Venezuela killed 80 security services including civilians. In her impassioned address to her nation, Delcy Rodriguez made direct reference to “Zionist undertones” or “Zionist tinge.” She called out America’s Zionist President Trump, responsible for the Zionist illegal kidnapping of Venezuela’s leader Maduro. Her anti-Zionist rhetoric among Caracas leaders follows the ongoing tradition since their beloved former populist President Hugo Chavez, who boldly confronted Israel’s genocide against Palestinians a full 20 years ago:
