The lightning strike takedown of Syria in little more than a week, drew near zero resistance from Syria and its overthrown President Bashar al-Assad, the Syrian head of state entrenched in power the last quarter-century. Thus, to observe his government surrender with so little resistance raises legitimate questions asking whether this “coup” was merely preplanned and staged theater by the usual suspects – US and Israel through yet more terrorist proxies. We’ve seen this bread and circus show many times before.
With assistance from cutthroat Turkey, brutal US-Israel interventionists appear to have once again used their latest Jihadist proxy aka another al Qaeda offshoot as their latest terrorist bagmen to further destabilize the Middle East, setting the stage for World War III, Armageddon-style. For decades, these two Zionist Masonic Luciferian genocidal pariah states have been regularly creating, financing, arming and training foreign mercenary terrorists to carry out their Darkside misdeeds that only benefit the Greater Israel Project.
This latest US-Israel terrorist offensive leaves many unanswered, anomalous questions of how this could have even occurred? With the now deposed President Assad and his family safely out of the country, granted asylum in Russia, how this most unlikely sudden turn of events could have so quickly unfolded with so little resistance displayed by Syrian resistance national forces, Iranian Islamic Resistance forces stationed for years on-the-ground in Syria, and both resistance forces closely backed further by powerful Eastern allies Russia and China. This whirlwind storm of events has to be a shocker to most of the world. Since when does resistance mean no resistance? A December 8th, 2024 Pravda article blurts out what many of us wonder and suspect:
In 2015, under far grimmer odds, Syria’s Republican Guard et Tiger Forces held the line against larger US-Turkish-Israeli proxies. Latakia’s coast and critical supply routes were defended heroically, and Damascus, despite being struck almost daily, stood resolutely. Today, that same Damascus has fallen without a fight. What changed? Was this collapse engineered by a series of covert deals and betrayals among those Assad once trusted to safeguard Syria’s sovereignty?
The following presentation asks more questions than it definitively answers, nonetheless, it ambitiously hypothesizes viable and plausible explanations based on reported factors still unfolding.
So on Thursday November 28th while a majority of American families gathered at their Thanksgiving dinner table ostensibly to count their blessings on the only annual family holiday set aside for that purpose, the Middle East Eye’s headline declared:
Syrian rebels storm towards Aleppo in shock offensive
Just the day before on November 27th Thanksgiving eve, a signed ceasefire went into effect between Israel and Lebanon’s Hezbollah forces on Israel’s northern warfront. Both opponents had taken serious hits and losses, and both are using the touch and go ceasefire to regroup. In any event, the war-wary world may have breathed a sigh of relief at the prospect of peace if given a chance in the Middle East. Yet history shows that it’s a rigged game where peace in this world is never given a chance. So on the very same Wednesday that a ceasefire took hold on one front, Gaza killing continues and a militant Jihadist group formerly known as Jabhat al-Nusrat, currently Hayat Tahrir al-Sham that the UN, US and virtually every nation lists as an international terrorist group, launched its ambitious campaign from the terrorist occupied stronghold in Syria’s northern province of Idlib that shares the border with Turkey.
It was certainly no accident that Israel’s November 27th truce with Lebanon was intentionally co-timed with Bibi Netanyahu’s proxy terrorist HTS’ latest terror rampage invading northwestern Syria and Aleppo province. The HTS-led offensive overtaking the cities of Aleppo, Hama, Homs and by Sunday, Damascus, was a long-planned, well-coordinated assault against the sovereign nation of Syria, supported by US and Israel financially as well as militarily through extensive training, arms and technical support. All the usual suspects’ dirty fingerprints are left all over this latest terrorism crime scene, starting with US-UK-Israel as in the Anglo-American-Zio Empire along with NATO member Turkey and accomplice Ukraine. Apparently Russian authorities have evidence linking Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence Directorate (GUR) agents to training HTS terrorists in Idlib on drone warfare that includes how to manufacture drones as the go-to modern warfare weapon.
If you wish to learn the truth, just check out the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) on any given matter or geopolitical development, and then conclude the exact opposite. Its December 6th article is titled “What Role Is Turkey Playing in Syria’s Civil War?” First of all, this so-called “civil war” in Syria has never been a civil war at all. It is a regime change war waged by the US and Israel with help from pivotal two-faced NATO member Turkey whose leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan has shrewdly played both sides (West vs. East) against the other, taking full advantage as a regional rival against Iran and covert partner with Israel. While grandstanding against Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, dubbing him “Bibi the Butcher” for genociding Gaza Palestinians, he remains a major Israeli trade as well as geopolitics chessboard partner. The CFR propaganda piece claims:
Turkey is the most important outside power supporting the rebel side.
No it’s not, the United States and Israel are by far the most important outside powers supporting the rebel side during their decade and a half war to oust Assad with Turkey their sometimes useful idiot. As the think tank power controlling US foreign policy and belligerence toward conflict and war with the Eastern powers, the Council on Foreign Relations is the NWO enemy of the world.
In spite of the surprising progress that these other useful idiots, the HTS terrorist mercenaries swiftly accrued, slicing across Syria towards its capital, even after a full week seizing control over Aleppo, its second largest city of 2 million, former US weapons inspector and normally very astute geopolitical analyst Scott Ritter got it wrong. But he was not alone. A number of skilled independent pundits including former CIA analyst-geopolitical commentator Larry Johnson and Russian analyst-author Andrei Martyanov also expressed full confidence that this terrorist “gambit” sponsored by US and Israel would soon be repelled in due time as yet another failed Western provocation, and that Syria, bolstered by prominent loyal Eastern allies Russia and Iran, would inevitably prevail. But their near certain expectations collapsed a couple days later as by early Sunday morning November 8th, the 50-year reign of the father-son Assad duo of the Alawite minority family screeched to an abrupt, unexpected halt. Larry does accurately pinpoint the incentive bone given Erdogan with a proposed oil pipeline going through distributor Turkey onto the Western market.
Consensus among prudent truthtelling analysts all figured that Syria supported by the strength of the collective resistance forces that include Eastern allies Iran and Russia would once again be able to lend sufficient support to defeat this latest US-Israel sponsored terrorist threat providing the latest wag-the-dog theater over the holiday weekend. Right after the fall of Assad, a Reuters piece sought opinions from members of the Alawite minority community where Assad drew his strongest support. For Alawites as a Shiite offshoot to rule a half century over a nation comprised predominantly of the Sunni faction of Islam, Bashar al-Assad governed as a secularist promoting freedom of religion for not just Muslims but Christians and lesser extent Jews. One citizen stated:
I know for a fact that there were many men who would have been willing to fight if they were called upon by the president, but that did not happen. Instead, we see withdrawals everywhere. It’s strange.
Also according to RT, it seems over the years Assad had grown too complacent, and was taken off guard after permitting a foreign mercenary terrorist hub in Idlib to serve as its haven for years. During this surprise attack, if it actually can be called that, Syrian forces put up next to no defense, and reportedly fled the cities in civilian clothes. RT also pointed out that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Army, stationed on the ground in Syria tasked with eradicating the US-Israeli funded takfiri terrorists, additionally provided lackluster response to the Aleppo attack, appearing oddly overcomplacent, almost appearing as if given stand-down orders.
A EurAsian Times piece written by the Chairman of the Editorial Board Prakash Nanda offers a slightly different twist on the Syria takeover. His perspective is that Putin ultimately decided that Assad was not worth going to great lengths and risks to protect anymore, out of Assad’s complacency, incompetence, inflexibility or all of the above. Putin also became disgusted learning that Syrian army soldiers simply ran away. Moreover, according to Nanda, the supposed HTS Jihadist group leader, Abu Mohammed al-Julani, unlike ISIS, is of the mindset to make a smooth, peaceful transition to a new Damascus government and is cooperating with the Syrian prime minister. Also according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, the two key Russian military bases located in Syria are in no way under threat. If Prakash Nanda’s article holds true, this alleviates much of the potential catastrophe of this Syrian government changeover.
But no doubt, this development in Damascus has to be viewed as a rare Western “gift” for the US paper tiger’s desperate string of failures as of late, still vainly attempting to reclaim past glory of its lost unipolar hegemony, after a century of bullying, threatening and controlling the world, relegated now to eating humble pie in today’s multipolar world led by Russia and China, emboldened to stand up in large numbers to confront the former sole superpower losing two proxy wars in Ukraine and Middle East amidst certain defeat. So it took no time at all for Western losers Joe Biden and Benjamin Netanyahu to start celebrating, each claiming credit for ousting Assad. Pompous pedo Joe calling the Syrian coup “a fundamental act of justice,” stated:
For years, the main backers of Assad have been Iran, [the Lebanese-based militant movement] Hezbollah, and Russia. But over the last week, their support collapsed, all three of them. Because all three of them are far weaker today than they were when I took office.
Meanwhile, another genocidal war criminal blowhard Netanyahu had this to gloat about:
This is a historic day in the history of the Middle East. The Assad regime is a central link in Iran’s axis of evil: this regime has fallen.
Because of Israel delivering so-called punishing death blows to Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon, Bibi the Butcher wasted no time taking full credit:
The Assad regime is a central link in Iran’s axis of evil: this regime has fallen. This is a direct result of the blows we have inflicted on Iran and Hezbollah, the main supporters of the Assad regime.
Netanyahu also did not hesitate sending Israeli Defense Forces into Syria’s buffer zone for the first time in 50 years since Israel and Syria signed the Agreement on Disengagement in 1974. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar told the press on Monday December 9th:
Israel attacked Syria’s strategic weapons systems, including chemical weapons stockpiles and long-range missiles and rockets in order that they will not fall in the hands of extremists.
A little past history… in 2015, Russian President Vladimir Putin rushed to the aid of Bashar al-Assad in order to save his ally’s presidency after President Obama, Sec. of State Hillary, CIA Directors David Petraeus and his CIA successor John Brennan along with then CentCom Commander Gen. Lloyd Austin deliberately created the al Qaeda spinoff of the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist wave, infamously sweeping from Iraq into Syria in a 2014 US freshly supplied caravan of 43 Toyota trucks and US arms. But the illegal regime change effort by the US had actually begun in March 2011 when the Arab Spring uprising was launched across the Middle East and North Africa, using nonstop proxy Islamic fundamentalist groups – Muslim Brotherhood, al Qaeda, ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusrat and other militant extremists, including today’s Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, all having posed continual threats to the stability of all countries in the Middle East, except one – Israel. Not once has Israel ever been attacked by any of these terrorist groups.
Overnight, the spreading scourge of ISIS foreign mercenary extremists suddenly became the world’s largest terrorist organization, and in 2015 ISIS intensified its threat to Syria’s national sovereignty. That’s when Putin sent in Russian troops to Syria, along with his S-400 missile defense system and Russian fighter jets deploying airstrikes to tip the balance of power back to Assad and Iran’s Revolutionary Guard ultimately beat back ISIS, confined to Syria’s isolated northern province Idlib, a longtime haven for US-Israel sponsored Middle East terrorists. Also proposed in 2015 was the UN adopted Resolution 2254, which called for establishment of a transitional governing body in Syria, followed by drafting a new constitution and UN-supervised elections. The UN’s special envoy for Syria, Geir Pedersen, just asserted a need for the UN in Geneva to urgently take up talks ensuring Syria’s “orderly political transition.”
Evolving in 2015 out of the UN mandate is the Syrian Negotiation Commission (SNC) to supervise negotiations between Damascus and the opposition forces that apparently grabbed control over the government. On Monday December 9th, the SNC president Anas Al-Abdah told RT:
We should aim for good relations with Russia based on the mutual interest of Russian people and Syrian people, the Russian state and the Syrian state. [Syria and Russia’s mutual future] should be paramount in determining the relations that will happen in the future. I believe this is very important. Syria needs all the help in this world.
This Syrian Negotiation Commission may hold little power over the fate of Syria as a nation or people, and war-ravaged Syria may be prone to following the trail of tears the US wrecking ball brings to other victims in the region like Iraq, Libya, Somalia, and on and on it goes.
In May 2017, Russia, Iran and Turkey all reached an historic agreement to de-escalate tensions in Syria after negotiations in Astana, Kazakhstan. Since that agreement, financed mercenary “Jihad” terrorists remaining in the Turkish border province Idlib of Syria were put under restraint. And after brewing flareups in the largely contained conflict, the Astana agreement was reaffirmed as recently as 2020. But the US recently threw in for Erdogan’s carrot stick reward becoming an oil pipeline distributor, along with more US F-16s jets for Ankara, and the West’s useful idiot was yet again won over to do more Western dirty bidding with the accomodated launch of this latest terrorist rampage begun from Idlib in recent days. So Erdogan was conned by US-Israel interests to again renege on his signed Astana agreement and betray Vladimir Putin [again]. Turkey has made its bed with the US and now must live with its consequences. Good luck on it joining BRICS or given any more leeway support from Putin.
The larger global power shift from West to East was plotted centuries ago by the same Luciferian bloodline elites that remain still in control today. Thus, the Eastern powers appear rendered planetary controllers’ controlled opposition while the West’s crumbling collapse is simply the elites’ deliberate controlled demolition of Western civilization, with its middle classes deemed the biggest obstacle to one world government tyranny.
This hollow, short-lived US-Israel triumph belatedly forcing Assad out of power in Syria, undoubtedly will momentarily boost the West’s sagging ego, and renew its Zionist zeal for provocation to instigate World War III on at least three warfronts, thus propelling yet more recklessly insane arrogance in its current regime change fixation in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia as well as other targeted nations bordering Russia and China from West Asia to Pacific Asia.
The fall of Assad is a very real, below the gut blow to both Iran and Russia. Once again, the City of London controllers through divide and conquer rule – be it Sunni vs. Shia or West vs. East, Zionist vs. Islam – conflict and consolidation of power through the “problem, reaction, solution” dialectic, steadily continues ruling the day. Without Assad in Syria, Hezbollah’s primary supply line from Iran to Lebanon is in jeopardy of being cut off. Plus, Russia loses not only a strategic ally, but its Russian air force and naval bases in Syria. Thus, the impactful loss of this relatively small geographic nation-state of Syria holds immense strategic significance for the entire Middle East and by extension entire world. And the fact that it was simply handed over without resistance to more US-Israeli backed proxy terrorists, potentially implicates wider collusion and acquiescence that lends itself to support the notion that so-called Eastern powers are mere controlled opposition for Khazarian mafia’s City of London centralized power.
The US obsession to encircle, “balkanize” and destroy Russia, given this newest “shot in the arm” in Syria, emblazons the West versus East WWIII showdown in Europe, Middle East and Pacific Asia. Even ahead of Finland becoming the latest NATO member last year, the US plan has always been to place nuclear missiles on the border with Russia, soon placing hypersonic intermediate range missiles currently in development to “beef up” deployment of its divide and rule hegemony throughout Europe and Asia, all within range of attacking Russia and China. Less than a month ago, the US Air Force Global Strike Command conducted a test launch of an unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). While humanity has never been closer to nuclear doomsday, the US is constantly escalating the volatility of the Ukraine war ahead of the Trump term in January. In a race against time, Russia cannot afford to wait for Trump’s twisted agenda, and it appears Moscow will launch its final winter offensive to force an unconditional surrender upon the US/NATO/Kiev. But The Big War looms straight ahead to break out next year.

Just like accidents, suicides, and almost everything else is multi-factorial, there are lots of reasons why Syria fell apart so quickly: a devastated economy after years of civil war; theft by Turkey of its industrial output in Idlib and by the U,.S. of its oil wealth in Eastern Syria; being duped by broken lies from Turkey , the U.S. and the Gulf states; psychological exhaustion after the long civil war; a conscript army that was receiving almost no pay; a regime led by a medically trained leader lacking in savvy and charisma whose family ruled too long; etc.
But Russia and Iran are NOT losers in all this. For the time being, Russia still has its bases in Latakia and an overall technologically pre-eminent armed forces, and Iran still has its impressive missile and air-defense capabilities and control over the Gulf oil-shipping lanes. What makes Iran and Russia stronger now is that they no longer have to waste resources and manpower in Syria and they were exposed to one of the most powerful lectures in modern history–namely, that one can never again safety negotiate with the West (including Turkey) again, one can never again believe in the West’s lies, and one can not afford to leave even a smidgeon of resistance left. Had Idlib been taken in 2015, Syria would still be whole today. If Russia now thinks it can live with anything other than unconditional surrender of Ukraine, including of its borders, it will in time face the same fate as Syria.
I would love to see Ukraine surrender, but with a virtually unlimited supply of cash and weapons (who the hell knows where it goes), can that ever happen? Maybe Trump will stop the flow…we will see.
My question could be, ” Would Trump have handled it the same way?”
I doubt it.
I will add there will be NO Armageddon. THAT serves no purpose.
But, many may remember that “Report from Iron Mountain (which many have said is a hoax….I do not think so)….in which world peace is NEVER an alternative.
Sure seems that way.
Thank you, Mr Hagopian. Exactly.
