Dr. Eowyn: Author of Trump-bashing ‘Fire & Fury’ admits many accounts in book are untrue

Michael Wolff is the author of the Trump-bashing book, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, which, though rushed to publication just three days ago because of a “cease and desist” order from Trump’s lawyers, is already a best-seller.
President Trump’s lawyers issued a “cease and desist” to Wolff and his publisher, Henry Holt and Company, after news broke that the book contains an account of what former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon allegedly told Wolff. Bannon calls President Trump’s oldest son, Donald Trump Jr., “treasonous” and “unpatriotic” for meeting with a group of Russians in the Trump Tower during last year’s presidential campaign, on the promise by a trusted intermediary that the Russians had documents that would “incriminate” rival Hillary Clinton. Since Bannon believes that Trump Jr. could not have taken the meeting without his father’s knowledge, that means Bannon is also calling President Trump “treasonous” and “unpatriotic”. (See “Steve Bannon turns against President Trump, calls him ‘treasonous’”)
Never mind the fact that:
Fire and Fury presents itself as a truthful account of the first nine months of Donald Trump’s presidency. Let’s face it: If the book is fiction, no one would pay any attention to it, nor would it become an instant best seller. Indeed, the description of the book on Amazon.com begins thus (the bold emphasis is Amazon‘s):

With extraordinary access to the Trump White House, Michael Wolff tells the inside story of the most controversial presidency of our time.”

Wolff’s Fire and Fury contains other damaging and disparaging accounts about President Trump. The only problem is this:

Wolff’s book contains a disclaimer, in which he actually admits that many of the accounts in his book are NOT true!

This is what Wolff says in “Author’s Note” at the beginning of Fire and Fury:

Many of the accounts of what has happened in the Trump White House are in conflict with one another; many, in Trumpian fashion, are baldly untrue. Those conflicts, and that looseness with the truth, if not with reality itself, are an elemental thread of the book.

Sometimes I have let the players offer their versions, in turn allowing the reader to judge them. In other instances I have, through a consistency in accounts and through sources I have come to trust, settled on a version of events I believe to be true.”

Below is a screenshot I took of that passage from Amazon.com:
Here are the Oxford English Dictionary‘s definitions of the critical words in Wolff’s disclaimer:
  • Many“: A large number of.
  • baldly“: Plainly; bluntly; without any extra detail or explanation.
  • untrue“: False; incorrect; not in accordance with fact or reality.
  • looseness with the truth“: To lie or deliberately withhold information.
  • elemental“: Fundamental; forming an essential or typical feature.
  • thread of a book“: A theme or characteristic running throughout a piece of writing.
And so, with the words defined, this is what Michael Wolff, author of Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House — a supposedly true and factual account of the first nine months of Donald Trump’s presidency — says about his book:

A large number of the accounts of what has happened in the Trump White House . . . are plainly false and incorrect . . . . Those lies are a fundamental, essential and typical characteristic running throughout the book.”

In other words, Michael Wolff is a liar and a writer of fiction. His book, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, should really be titled Lies and Fiction: A Fundamentally False Account of the Trump White House.
In an August 2004 cover story for The New Republic, this is what Michelle Cottle wrote about Michael Wolff:

“Uninterested in the working press, Wolff’s special focus (fixation, even) has always been on the power players–the moguls…. With his wicked rants, Wolff swiftly emerged as the It Boy of New York media. His quick wit, dizzying writing style, and willingness to say absolutely anything about anybody made his column a must-read. Plus, he was writing (gossiping, really)…in a catty, caustic way that no one else dared….

[But] the scenes in his columns aren’t recreated so much as created—springing from Wolff’s imagination rather than from actual knowledge of events. Even Wolff acknowledges that conventional reporting isn’t his bag…. ‘His great gift is the appearance of intimate access,’ says an editor who has worked with Wolff. ‘He is adroit at making the reader think that he has spent hours and days with his subject, when in fact he may have spent no time at all.‘”

Those foolish enough to buy Fire and Fury should sue Wolff and publisher Henry Holt and Company for false advertising.

  1. This appears to be a staged conflict like the brouhaha over J.O.N.E.S. better known as Journal Of Nine Eleven Studies.

    Where Did Their Credibility Go?

Could James Gourley (a patent attorney for the petroleum industry) be disbarred because of his lack of integrity for writing a propaganda hit piece on Dr. Judy Wood? All he did was write false information and then debunked the false information. See how easy it is to run a cover-up! The evidence Dr. Wood puts forth actually eliminates space based lasers because that is a form of kinetic energy. Now what interests would want to keep free energy covered up in exchange for endless war and oppression Mr. Gourley???

    http://www.cclaw.com/our-people/attorneys/james-gourley.html

It makes one wonder whose intellectual property Mr. Gourley is protecting. Could it be Applied Research Associates, Inc.or Science Applications International Corp.or Boeing; Nustats or Computer Aided Engineering Associates, Inc. ???

Dr. Wood has never spoken with Mr. Gage, yet Mr. Gage promotes disinformation about Dr. Wood at nearly every interview he does – if not every interview. Dr. Fetzer also promotes disinformation about Dr. Wood in nearly every interview he does. Yet none of them have ever refuted anything Dr. Wood has presented.

It is widely known that the last time Dr. Judy Wood voluntarily spoke with Dr. James Fetzer or exchanged emails was February 2008. That is, it has been nearly 10 years since Dr. Wood HAS NOT voluntarily spoken with Dr. Fetzer or emailed him. So why is Dr. Fetzer still so obsessed with Dr. Wood???

Those who want to cover up the evidence of what happen often falsely claim that Dr. Wood is talking about a specific weapon and a specific location of it (e.g. laser beam from outer space, or "spacebeams"). This disinformation campaign was initiated by Steven Jones on 11/11/2006 in a presentation he gave at the University of California, Berkeley.

    [available here at 1:53:47 https://archive.org/details/liftingthefog_2006_11_11_session2 ],

telling his audience that "Judy Woods (Dr. Wood) says it's a laser or maser from space" while showing how difficult it is to hold his hand like a beam from space. Not only does Dr. Wood NOT SAY THAT, she actually RULES THAT OUT. The mechanism of destruction of a laser beam would be from heat and produce a bright and blinding light. But we know the buildings were not cooked to death. The term Directed Energy is used because energy is directed to do something different then it normally does and it is directed to do this within a certain geographic zone. [As a mental example, think of directing the binding energy of matter to repel instead of attract. A solid object would turn to atomic-sized dust. Direct this to happen within the WTC complex and not across the street.]

Dr. Wood does not make any claims. Dr. Wood is not an Internet blogger tasked with the job of swaying public opinion like Richard Gage, Dr. James Fetzer, and their government run organization is doing. Dr. Wood is a forensic engineer and scientist. Dr. Wood conducts research and writes reports. That is what Dr. Wood does. Dr. Wood does not have a dog in this fight. If someone has not read WHERE DID THE TOWERS GO?, they have no standing to dispute it.

  2. As the above post quoted from the late Wayne Barrett, top investigative journalist in New York for over 30 years, who has truthfully and carefully investigated Trump and documented he is a liar, cheater, con artist, bully,… who first tried to silence Barrett with bribes, but then when that didn't work he threatened him with lawsuits and more which never materialized. Barrett died about a year ago. He has written numerous ariticles and at least one book on Trump. But the ignorant fools in America don't want to read this truthful carefully documented information because they are described by another great quote from Voltaire:
“The only way to comprehend what mathematicians mean by infinity is to contemplate the extent of human stupidity.” People don't want to read carefully documented facts about Trump, but only sensational tabloid garbage in this book which will make good money for the author and publisher. All this is part of the same degeneration of America which has led to the take over of our government by the money hungry thugs of Israel who steal land daily from neighbors and treat Palestinians like garbage.
Another area where Trump lied is documented in the article TrumpTower in Wikipedia where Trump promised to save priceless artifacts from the former building replaced by his tower, but blatantly lied about this too and evidently kept them himself. Trump is a liar, con artist, cheater, bully, … who got away with horrible crimes all his life in New York with no consequences. Americans are the biggest fools on planet earth. Ben Franklin, another true genius like Voltaire, predicted the downfall of America at the founding due to corruption which has materialized today through Israel buying America. Watch this video:

  3. http://www.villagevoice.com/news/how-a-young-donald-trump-forced-his-way-from-avenue-z-to-manhattan-7380462 The late Wayne Barrett documented Trump’s corrupt activities for years:
“Similarly, in his deposition in the federal discrimination case, Trump refused to acknowledge responsibility for accepting or rejecting individual tenants. Those statements were a material part of his testimony since they went to the heart of the case — Trump's ability to control the discriminatory practices of his companies.
Shortly after he'd given his deposition, he was interviewed by a field investigator for the secretary of state. The interview had nothing to do with the federal case; the investigator was trying to determine if Trump met the experience requirement for a real-estate broker's license. The report states: "Mr. Trump further stated that he supervises and controls the renting of all apartments owned by the Trump organization…During my interview with applicant he showed me hundreds of files…Each contained numerous leases both for commercial and residential tenants…and rental records, all of which contained applicant's signature and handwriting." Trump's lawyer, Mathew Tosti, also claimed in a letter to the secretary of state that Trump had "negotiated numerous leases for apartments."
Yet he'd testified in federal court:
Government: "Do you ever have anything to do with rental decisions in individual cases?
    Trump: "No, I really don't."
Donald Trump is a user of other users. The politician and his moneychanger feed on each other. The moneychanger trades private dollars for access to public ones. Trump, Sunshine, Lindenbaum, and their counterparts Carey and Beame are classic expressions of this relationship. The transactions that result are contained in the father's story of Trump Village and in next week's account of Trump's Manhattan conquests.”
