First on July 25th, the US Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) designated Venezuela’s Cartel de los Soles (of the Suns) a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT) entity. This simply offers the excuse for US to continue waging its forever “War on Terror” much closer to home inside the Western hemisphere. And just like clockwork just two weeks later, Trump Attorney General Pam Bondi sanctimoniously announced on August 7th a doubled $50 million bounty on Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro’s head, as US history’s highest bounty ever issued on a sitting world leader. In one fell swoop, Bondi blamed Maduro for working with the Venezuelan criminal gang Tren de Aragua as well as Mexico’s Sinaloa cartel, labeling Nicolás Maduro:
One of the largest narco traffickers in the world and a threat to our national security.
Bondi alleges that Maduro heads the Cartel de los Soles as the US latest designated terrorist organization. Yet strong evidence shows high probability that this outfit may not even exist. The timing of this latest Trump attack on a foreign nation serves multiple purposes. It immediately shifts attention away from his otherwise floundering administration during its first seven months in the White House. Perhaps this attack on Maduro most conveniently benefits Trump by forestalling the mounting pressure resulting from Trump’s overt coverup of his own criminal pedophilia past, when he ran with America’s most infamous pedophile blackmailer. Trump avoids the still unreleased Epstein files with his name plastered throughout thousands upon thousands of pages of the Epstein-Maxwell related documents.
An August 14thcountercurrent.org article states:
Despite persistent propaganda about the Cartel de los Soles, drug trafficking, and ‘narco-terrorism’ — used to justify labelling Venezuela a ‘narco-state’ — the US has never provided credible evidence to support these claims. The DEA [US Drug Enforcement Agency] itself reports that over 80 per cent of cocaine entering the US comes via the Pacific, with only 7 per cent passing through the eastern Caribbean.
Any Western Hemisphere map readily indicates the entire Venezuelan coastline is located in the southeastern part of the Caribbean Sea on the Atlantic side of South America. Thus, by its own admission, the one special agency within the US government whose mission is interdiction of incoming illegal drugs into the US has gone on public record citing that only a miniscule portion of the cocaine drug trade transits into the US via the “eastern Caribbean.”
With zero evidence supporting Bondi’s claims against Maduro, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil responded:
Bondi’s pathetic bounty is the most ridiculous smokescreen we have ever seen. The dignity of our homeland is not for sale. We reject this crude political propaganda operation
This is not the first time Trump has gone after Maduro. Back in 2020 during his first presidential term, a federal district court in New York indicted Maduro and other members of his government on narco-terrorism charges. The US is the world bully, forever punishing nations that fail to submit to its exploitive imperialist harm.
As usual, all of Trump’s latest provocations against Venezuela in this last couple weeks, including sending three US Navy destroyers and auxiliary warships parked off the South Caribbean coast with 4,000 boots on the water as American show of force is a clear breach of international law and flagrant disregard for another nation’s right to sovereignty. Where have we seen this before? America continues to be guilty of these crimes of belligerent aggression all over the world. Meanwhile, in self-defense, by August 20th Venezuela reportedly mobilized 4.5 million militia troops of its total 30 million Venezuelans in case of war as its leader Maduro in a televised address that same day said:
We defend our seas, our skies, and our lands. We liberated them. We guard and patrol them. No empire will touch the sacred soil of Venezuela, nor should it touch the sacred soil of South America.
On top of the US constantly hurling incriminating charges against back-to-back demonized Venezuelan national leaders for the last quarter century, first against the late Hugo Chavez and now for a dozen years Nicolás Maduro, Washington insists Maduro’s last two elections in 2024 and 2018 were both rigged. What gives the US the right to criticize other nations’ elections when in this century alone near half of America’s elections have been hotly disputed, with two suspicious George W. Bush outcomes and definitely in 2020. The US hubris is off the charts. The US has labeled Venezuela’s last two progressive socialist leaders as enemies, not unlike the Castro family in Cuba, levying heaps of economic sanctions that go back to Maduro’s populist predecessor Hugo Chávez, who governed from 1999 till his 2013 death. Politicized sanctions amount to an economic act of war that no nation should arbitrarily wield. As hostilities escalate, in another act of warm on August 13th the US announced it seized $700 million in assets, including , luxury mansions, airplanes, cars and jewelry all belonging to Venezuelan citizens.
Bondi’s recent remarks also stated that Maduro is guilty of shipping the deadliest killer drug fentanyl laced in cocaine to the US. This too appears yet another slanderous figment of her and her US propaganda machine’s imaginations. By far, the world’s biggest producer of this opioid killer that’s 30-50 times more potent than heroin and 100 times more than morphine, is – who else but USA’s own Big Pharma corporations. Fentanyl was first created by David Janssen, his pharmaceutical becoming a subsidiary of the giant Johnson & Johnson. Fentanyl was FDA approved as an anesthetic in 1968. Again, before throwing stones in other nations’ houses, the US needs to look at its own. So, with assistance from the CIA, it’s fair to say that the real “narco-terrorists” are the Bush crime family.
After illicit CIA opium drug trafficking operations had expanded far beyond the 1970s Southeast Asian Golden Triangle, by the early 1980s in collaboration with mujahedeen in Afghanistan, intercontinental Iran-Contra black operations were spawned. Since 2021, fentanyl has spiked an enormous increase in drug deaths by an incredible 26%.
Likewise, for nearly eight straight decades, the CIA has been subversively wreaking havoc on the entire grand chessboard stage, right and left selectively ousting national leaders with total impunity for failing to go along with The Firm’s pay-to-play operations as subservient imperialist slaves within Khazarian mafia’s brutally destabilized world. The latest case in point is Zionist Israel’s cyber operations chief arrested for pedophilia on August 15th in a joint federal-Las Vegas police sting operation. Yet under strict Netanyahu-Trump orders, within 24-hours he was set free to fly safely back home to the pedo haven Israel. It’s the latest illustration of Khazarian mafia impunity up close and personal only a week ago. The antihuman Zio-Anglo-American Empire’s exploitation death game’s “boots on the ground” are these same notorious intelligence services – Israel’s Mossad, UK’s MI6 and America’s CIA, busily operating nonstop together with zero oversight their rogue state black ops against the furthest interests of humanity.
Bordering Venezuela is the longtime major cocaine exporter Colombia. Despite a long contentious history between Venezuela and its neighbor Colombia, in large part because the CIA has its drug tentacles deeply embedded in Bogota’s prosperous drug trade, Maduro and his Colombian counterpart Gustavo Petro just signed a mutual security alliance pact. In the past, corrupt Venezuelan military officers stationed along the border have brought cocaine into Venezuela. Both his predecessor Hugo Chavez and Nicolas Maduro have largely resisted the degrading consequences of their nation becoming a narco-state, despite the US false allegation. Seeing the sobering writing on the wall, Maduro just last week announced that he is activating a Colombia-Venezuela “binational zone along their shared border, to “redouble all efforts in the direct fight against violent and criminal gangs.” Maduro realizes that with the rising US military threat currently offshore, posing imminent danger of potential US invasion and war, urgent mutual need calls for both greater economic and military cooperation between Venezuela and Colombia.
The real reason the US has deployed warships and is seeking regime change in Venezuela is because it majorly distracts from Trump’s Epstein coverup crimes. But the overall biggest reason is Venezuela is sitting on the largest oil and gas reserves in the entire world. An August 21st El Pais article states:
Just weeks after the renewal of the U.S. oil company Chevron’s license to operate in Venezuela and the agreement to exchange political prisoners, tensions between Washington and Caracas have escalated dramatically. The tensions now have a military component that has few bilateral precedents.
But the key here is Chevron gets to keep milking the black cow in the biggest oil nation in the world. This sudden renewed Trump hostility directed against Maduro coming just weeks after Chevron renews its Venezuelan contract speaks volumes. But then renewed regime change interest also sees dollar signs. Trump turning up heated tensions against Maduro also immediately follows his recent threat of direct military intervention against the Mexican drug cartels.
Another reason for Trump contempt is that Venezuela as another Global South nation in America’s backyard is ready to join the BRIC alliance. With the global balance of power shifting both from West to East as well as north to Global South, this BRICS alliance led by America’s biggest adversaries Russia, Iran and China is surpassing the waning G20.

So, Trump suddenly stoking multiple threats of aggression in USA’s backyard, renewing the Monroe Doctrine imperialism, busily targeting nations south of the border now also draws some parallel with Trump’s other recent moves. Armenian Zangezur Corridor takeover bordering Iran. Zionist US-Israel with Azerbaijan also entertain renewed interest to resume their next imminent war against Tehran, plotting a joint offensive into northern Iran where 15-20 million Azeris reside, many pondering separatist aspirations. So, while the “Peacemaker-in-Chief” keeps bragging how this year he keeps stopping wars all the time, recent Trump’s sleight of hand chessboard moves also foretell more brewing hotspots flaring up all over the world.
