Apparently, Virginia’s governor must show that she’s in step with other socially aware pro-criminal and immigrant governors and mayors such as California’s Governor Gavin Newsom who congratulated Spanberger on her bills. He presides over the burgeoning humanitarian homeless crisis mostly of citizens. These so called progressive politicians and officials go against the public’s wishes who overwhelmingly want illegal violent and other
criminals deported.
Governor Spanberger also revealed that she’s not in sync with the public’s wishes on historic and Confederate monuments, over
52% want them standing. She exercised
her will, against the public, to champion General Assembly bills to order statues of three important Virginia leaders removed from Richmond’s Capitol Hill where they have stood for 100 years. They will be given to the Shanendoah Battlefields Trust Foundation for display.
Spanberger has practically created a Virginia Department of Historical Destruction. It’s as though she despises hallowed Virginia traditions which gave shape to our nation through the Foundation Documents. Recently, she posted “Virginia was the 10th state to sign the Constitution of 1788” ignoring Virginia’s historic work in shaping our nations first principles. Inexplicably, Spanburger and the General Assembly Democrats funded erecting a statue to honor the late
Onzlee Ware, a Roanoke black judge who was accused of sexual assault.
Spanberger continued to show a lack of concern for her constituents when she had re-joined Virginia to the
RGGI greenhouse deal, which adds $16 per person in taxes. In addition, she gave away the integrity of Virginia’s
12 Electoral College votes, tying them to the votes of other states
Spanberger’s friend, New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill, is another leader sympathetic to preventing illegal criminals from being deported by ICE. Sherrill, who was turned away from visiting the Delaney Detention Center for ICE processing, championed the detainees. They went on a
hunger strike allegedly because of their conditions which they claimed where substandard such as worms in the food, lack of space and medical care. Since none of the detainees, all of whom have access to lawyers, brought individual court cases of abuse against the facility, it’s safe to assume that the examples of mistreatment may be exaggerated.
As to New Jersey,
they spend $7 billion over 1 million illegals, or $8,000. per individual, with a state total of only about 10 million in population. One in 10 in NJ is an illegal. The NJ governor continuing to provide the welcome mat for illegals and immigrants is hardly sustainable.
Why would Spanberger and Sherrill want to continue to pay for criminals in jail or is their focus to release them into the public? Abigail Spanberger already failed the public by not listening to ICE pleading to keep
Jose Hernandez in jail without bond after he sexually assaulted a five year old girl. He now walks the streets in Northern Virginia. The governor also has failed the public through her chipping away at (infringing upon) Virginia’s Second Amendment Rights.
New York City’s Mayor Mamdani, along with Spanberger and Sherrill, also champions immigrants. Mamdani along with NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch and New York City Council Speaker Julie Menin, refused to answer why they won’t arrest motorized pedicab drivers for assaulting horse drawn carriage drivers in Central Park. They also refused to answer why motorized e-bikers, many of which are immigrants like the pedicab drivers, for over 7 years aren’t being arrested for causing accidents and deaths, averaging 20 deaths per year and sending over 914 brain and spinal injured victims to the hospital.
Astonishingly, almost no police reports of these accidents exist according to NYU Langone. The mayor, Menin and Tisch only cursorily allowed arrests of mainly immigrants selling fake LV bags and other products on Canal Street. Nearby store owners say they’re back the next day and the police continue to do nothing.
More recently Mamdani said he would buck Federal Law in
no longer protecting deportations of Haitians and Syrians after the Supreme Court decision. What he refuses to say is who’s paying for them to stay here if they don’t have jobs? The New York City Comptroller doesn’t have statistics such as these about immigrants/asylum seekers.
Politicians like Spanberger, Newsom, Sherrill, and Mamdani conform to each other supporting causes that sound virtuous to the press and some of the public but are unrealistic and even dangerous. Crusading for immigrants and criminals who overwhelm social services jeopardizes law abiding citizens. In a way these politicians are immature, thinking with fanciful teenage optimism that the lovely spirit of illegal violent criminals makes them worth keeping in the US. The reality is that these government officials are promoting crime and anarchy, which the false ideology of democratic socialism invariably brings.
The witty
Quentin Crisp said it best, “The young always have the same problem, how to rebel and conform at the same time. They have now solved this problem by defying their elders and copying each other.” What else will these same undeveloped politicians do that mirror each other to the detriment of US citizens?
